Role: Head of Engineering – Electronics focused

Location: Local to Heathrow

Salary £80,000 – £100,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Engineering with a Leading company based locally to Heathrow who specialises in the design and development of complex sensor technology and Electronics Hardware.

The Head of Engineering will oversee the full product development from concept to production whilst managing a multiskilled team of 10 engineers, including Hardware, Software, and Mechanical, in an R&D Environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive product development and roadmap delivery
• Lead on technical design and decision-making
• Provide sales and customer support expertise
• Build, coach, and inspire engineering teams
• Champion innovation and process improvements
• Ensure compliance and performance excellence

Key skills required:

• 5+ Years of experience in Engineering management with a proven record leading multi-disciplined teams
• Strong technical background in either Electronics or Physics
• Engineering project management
• Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
• MSc or BSc in Engineering, Electronics, Physics or related subject
