Contract Opportunity: 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer (On-Prem & Cloud) – Hull / Hybrid – Outside IR35

We’re on the lookout for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on an initial 3-month contract (outside IR35), with the strong potential to extend or convert to a permanent role.

Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite in Hull, remainder remote

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Outside IR35, 3 Months (Extension/Permanent Opportunity)

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play a key role in supporting, managing, and improving our hybrid infrastructure environment, split across on-premise and Azure cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role that also demands strong networking knowledge and experience.

Key Technologies & Skills:

• Virtualisation: VMware & Hyper-V

• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)

• Networking: Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing/switching

• Storage: SAN solutions (ideally hybrid SANs)
