You will test and fault-find high-power electronic systems in a lab environment, including live AC work up to 2kW, as part of an engineering programme.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Carry out live testing of high-power electronic units and assemblies, including AC voltage work up to 2kW<\/li>\n<li>Use oscilloscopes, DVMs and multimeters to take measurements, diagnose faults and verify performance<\/li>\n<li>Work to safe systems of working for high-risk voltage environments<\/li>\n<li>Read and work from schematics and test procedures<\/li>\n<li>Record test results accurately and report findings to the engineering team<\/li>\n<li>Carry out rework or repairs where required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Proven hands-on experience testing power electronics, with live AC voltage up to 2kW<\/li>\n<li>Confident, regular use of oscilloscopes, DVMs and multimeters<\/li>\n<li>Strong fault-finding skills at board or unit level<\/li>\n<li>Trained and competent for high-voltage or high-risk electrical work (for example EAWR awareness or equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>ONC\/HNC in electronics or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Desirable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Space, aerospace, defence or other high-reliability sector experience<\/li>\n<li>Soldering and rework qualifications (IPC or ESA)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with electronic loads and programmable power supplies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Please note<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is a fully onsite role.
