These digital experts have the responsibility to evaluate and recommend the most appropriate tech to fulfil ambitions and future proof the technology choices. Increased pressure<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to new research, digital architects are feeling the pressure as they struggle to meet their organisations transformation ambitions. In a study carried out by Couchbase, out of \u201c450 heads of digital transformation responsible for managing data architecture at enterprises across America, UK, France and Germany,\u00a085% of the respondents<\/a>\u00a0were under pressure to deliver projects \u2013 with 41% experiencing \u201chigh\u201d or \u201cextremely high\u201d pressure.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Legacy technologies<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Sandra DeSilva, founder of Nova software engineering company, has recently stated that many companies are hampered from adopting new technologies and an innovative way of doing things by \u201ctheir paper, their\u00a0legacy process<\/a>,\u201d and to do this \u201ccompanies have to have better management of, and access to, data.\u201d Companies are keen to leave behind legacy processes as they slow down the pace of innovation. This has led to increased pressure to use more innovative ways of thinking.<\/p>\n
