 Senior FPGA Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Majority Remote (Approx. 1 Week Per Month Onsite in Hampshire)

We’re recruiting for an experienced FPGA Engineer<\/strong> to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced FPGA and SoC solutions for high-performance, mission-critical applications.<\/p>\n

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while enjoying a flexible working arrangement, with the majority of your time spent working remotely and approximately one week per month onsite in Hampshire.<\/p>\n

The Role<\/h2>\n

You’ll be involved in the full FPGA development lifecycle, working alongside systems, electronics and software engineers to design, develop and verify high-performance FPGA solutions.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Design and develop FPGA and SoC-based solutions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Develop VHDL and\/or Verilog code<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Integrate FPGA modules and reusable IP<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform simulation, verification and hardware testing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support timing analysis and FPGA optimisation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Produce technical documentation and verification plans<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Experience<\/h2>\n

    To be considered, you’ll ideally have:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      5+ years‘ FPGA design experience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong VHDL and\/or Verilog development skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience with Vivado, Quartus and ModelSim\/QuestaSim<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Knowledge of FPGA development from design through to verification<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience with Xilinx Zynq or similar SoC platforms<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Understanding of timing closure and high-speed digital design<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Python or Tcl scripting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        MATLAB<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        High-Level Synthesis (HLS)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Video interfaces (MIPI, SDI)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n
