Contract | Outside IR35<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Location:&nbsp;Somerset, England (1&ndash;2 days onsite per week)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Rate:&nbsp;&pound;Depending on Experience (Outside IR35)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Contract Length:&nbsp;6 months +<\/p>\n<p>\u26a1&nbsp;Start Date:&nbsp;ASAP<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Clearance:&nbsp;Active SC Clearance&nbsp;(ESSENTIAL)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> The Opportunity<\/p>\n<p>We&rsquo;re looking for an experienced&nbsp;Lead Automation Tester \/ Test Lead&nbsp;to drive a modern, outcome-focused quality engineering strategy within Azure-hosted enterprise systems in a secure, regulated UK environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead a&nbsp;risk-based automation strategy&nbsp;across functional, integration, and performance testing<\/li>\n<li>Align quality practices to&nbsp;DORA metrics&nbsp;(Lead Time, Deployment Frequency, Change Failure Rate, MTTR)<\/li>\n<li>Design scalable automation frameworks using&nbsp;Playwright&nbsp;and&nbsp;K6<\/li>\n<li>Embed fast, reliable automation into&nbsp;Azure DevOps CI\/CD pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Promote&nbsp;test pyramid best practices&nbsp;and minimise brittle UI automation<\/li>\n<li>Define meaningful quality metrics beyond code coverage<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement through&nbsp;data-driven insights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Required Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience leading automation strategy in&nbsp;enterprise environments<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of modern test automation principles (CI-first, test pyramid, contract testing)<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with&nbsp;Playwright&nbsp;and&nbsp;K6<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with&nbsp;Azure DevOps CI\/CD<\/li>\n<li>Clear understanding of&nbsp;DORA metrics<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in&nbsp;secure or regulated environments<\/li>\n<li>Active SC Clearance (mandatory)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p> Why Join?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High-impact role on&nbsp;critical enterprise platforms<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to&nbsp;shape quality strategy&nbsp;and delivery outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Work alongside&nbsp;mature engineering and DevOps teams<\/li>\n<li>Long-term, stable programme in a&nbsp;regulated environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;Apply now&nbsp;or reach out directly to discuss further &ndash;
